Course Objectives:

The purpose of these courses is to introduce students to the skill of Inductive Bible Study so that they can study the Bible on their own and understand what God means by what He says instead of imposing their meanings onto the text of God’s Word.

 

What you will learn?

Students will learn the beginning IBS tools so that they can study the Bible inductively. They will learn to develop a questioning mindset as they train their minds to reason Scripture and glean precious truths from God’s Word on their own.

 

Target Audience

1. Any believer who desires to study God’s Word inductively

2. All those who are doing 2Tim2-2.com workshops for the first time.

Course Objectives:

The purpose of these courses is train the students to obtain an overview a book so that they can interpret the truths of God’s Word within the CONTEXT of their times.

 

What you will learn?

Using the same IBS skills learnt from the Introduction, students will learn to do an overview of the passage and glean its essential message. Students will learn to evaluate Scripture objectively and not subjectively, with the result that they will learn to let Scripture interpret Scripture.

 

Target Audience

1. Any believer who wants to be stretched in their understanding of the Scriptures

2. All those who have done the Introduction to IBS

3. Those with training in IBS learnt from other ministries

Course Objectives:

The purpose of this course is to bring students to a deeper level of studying the Bible through a structural analysis of the Book under study.

 

What you will learn?

Students will learn to analyze the flow of thought in a book and gain insights into the meaning of the text through structuring the text. They will learn how to use the “5Ws and an H” questions more effectively to glean the nuances of the text.

 

Target Audience

1. Students familiar with the Basic IBS skills

2. Attended at least 2 workshops (Intro and/or Basic).

Course Objectives:

The purpose of this course is to teach students how to handle controversial doctrines Biblically. This will give the student a panoramic view of the Scriptures concerning the passage or topic.

 

What you will learn?

Using the skills acquired from the Basic and Intermediate workshops, students will be able to handle controversial passages and topics based on the Word of God. They will learn how to see the topic in its wider context before focusing on the passage and topic at hand.

1. Teachers

2. Pastors and Elders

3. Those who have done the Intro, Basic and Intermediate workshops and have studied at least 3 of our workbooks or have studied inductively for at least a year.
