Plumbing the Depths of Revelation

How does one understand the book of Revelation? There are so many different interpretations! There are so many ways of looking at Revelation! Who is right? How can I know? How can I be sure? It seems like the book of Revelation is up for grabs! Interpret it any way you want, according to your own system of theology, your own view of the end times. This course is designed to help you know the book of Revelation for yourself and to prepare for the "the things which must shortly take place ..."

Part I

The pressures are great. Our worlds privately, nationally and internationally are in turmoil. How are we to survive as overcomers instead of being overcome by it all. This study of Revelation chapters 1-5 will answer this question as well as help you regain your first love in Jesus Christ if it seems to have diminished in the midst of life's everyday pressures.

Part II

How well do you know for yourself the details of His coming and the events which lead up to it? Are you a "blind follower of what you have heard or do you know what you believe because you have mined precious truths from the Word of God for yourself? Revelation 6-16 is the focus of this study of the book of Revelation and the text is examined to observe exactly what God says will take place in the end times.

Part IV

The final chapters of Revelation are among the more difficult chapters of Revelation as they deal with concepts and subjects that appear from the book of Genesis and which many have longed for but none has encountered yet – the Great Tribulation, the Return of our Lord, the Millennium, the Great White Throne Judgment. But by faith, we believe that all these things are true because the God of truth has spoken them and He will bring them to pass. Prophecy is but future history and for those who would believe God’s Word, then prophecy becomes their “eye” into the future (see 2 Peter 1:19).
